Good news for stalled residential sites
Hopefully this well help get stalled residential development sites moving. Landowners can now renegotiate affordable housing requirements, and appeal if negotiations fail. This combined with the new government encouraged sale support should lead to more development and sale of houses to house buyers rather than housing associations. Barratt must think its a great idea as Mark Clare confirmed that they are continuing to add to their staff and see improving margins.
